Introduction Terms

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. What happens when you enquire

When you submit the enquiry form, we review and screen your enquiry. If it is suitable, and with the consent you give at submission, we make an introduction. We introduce you to a UK firm of chartered accountants regulated by ICAEW whose services include cryptoasset taxation. Whether the firm acts for you is a matter for its own professional judgement and its decision alone. We make no representation that it will accept your engagement, or as to its capability or performance. We choose which firm receives introductions, and we will confirm the introduction to you by email.

2. The fee we receive

We receive a fee from the firm if you become its client. The fees you pay are agreed between you and the firm. You pay us nothing.

3. What we are and are not

bitcointax.co.uk (the trading name of GMFBB Ltd) is an introduction service. We are not an accountancy firm and we give no advice. We make no representation that the firm is suitable for your particular circumstances; assessing that, and everything that follows, is between you and the firm. We are not your agent and owe you no fiduciary duty.

4. Your engagement with the firm

Any engagement, its terms, its fees, and the work done under it are exclusively between you and the firm. The firm is regulated by ICAEW and is required by its professional rules to tell you about this referral arrangement.

5. Your choice

You are free to engage any adviser you wish. An introduction creates no obligation on you to engage the firm, and none on the firm to accept you as a client.

6. If we do not introduce your enquiry

Not every enquiry is introduced. If yours is not, we will tell you, and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the firm, raise it with the firm first and then, if unresolved, with ICAEW. If you have a complaint about this site or our service, contact operations@bitcointax.co.uk and we aim to respond within five working days.

8. These terms

These terms sit alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and are governed by the law of England and Wales.
